In a few months I shall be connecting through BOS arriving at 6.35pm off AA196 from BOS and connecting to a US Airways Express flight to RIC that leaves at 8.45pm.

Looking at the US Airways website it appears the US Express flights go from Terminal B as do AA so the connection should be fairly straightforward.

Looking at the terminal map it appears that there is a US Airways Club in Terminal B which would be a handy stopover thanks to my LH*G card. However there are another 3 *A lounges in Terminal E, all of which I should be able to access.

Is the walk worth it?
Can I walk it?
Is the US Airways lounge any good?

Thanks
Fraser

Although US and AA are both in Terminal B at BOS, they are in different parts of the terminal, so, unless there is a shortcut that I am not aware of, you will need to exit the AA part of the terminal and cross a small parking area to reach the US gates, where you will have to re-clear security. Once you're through, the US club is quite nice -- big, with a nice view, and rarely crowded. Terminal E is not remotely close by (you would have to take a shuttle bus to get there), so you will certainly want to stick with the US club, I think.

They are different building actually... its like B1 vs B3.

Don't try to figure it out. .just accept it.

It's a doable walk. I did it in the dead of winter/snow on a double MR and it was still tolerable. You will recelar "security" for USX.
