Recently when calling the Gold Preffered Line, Im getting agents that are rude, and seem new. Many times when I called, I had the same folks anwser, now its everyone new, every time. These foks must be the new ones hired, are far from the agents that I remember speaking to around January or even back to December, November or even October. Anyone share this view?

There is no Gold Preferred "desk". Generally when calling the GP number, you are however ensured a higher calling priority and an agent in the US.

I was always confused about this. In the past, whenever I would call the gold number, I would often ask "is this the gold desk"? the answer was usually "yes". But last year one of the agents told me that there is no gold desk  for me it was as if she said there is no santa clause as I always thought there was a dedicated staff during normal biz hours.
IMHO this is a phantom perk other than the calls do get picked up immediately and I almost always get a US rep. So it was my imagination, then, that the (phantom) "gold" reps I reached were better than the reps I would get when calling the regular US 800 number?
The reality is that I seldom call much anymore so I have not really paid too much attention to this.

When you call the Gold line, as mentioned, you'll always get a US-based phone rep. Peons might get shuffled off to Belize or San Salvador or whatever place was cheapest this week.
Hey, at least they haven't contracted it out to a prison

There must be a Gold Pref desk...about 70% of the time I call the silver line I get the greeting "Silver Preferred, this is ________how may I help you?" I would think that they would pillage the Silver line before the Gold's...
Of course they dont always make logical sense so...I may stand corrected when I say there "must" be a gold desk..

I assume it flashes up on their call center screen that the call is incoming from the "Silver Preferred" or "Gold Preferred" phone number.
