When I click on "Current Dividend Miles Account Statement" it says I am Gold Preferred. I flew last weekend and my boarding pass printed with Gold Preferred, too -- although the ticket was bought last year.

I thought that my status expired end of February 2006 and I did not requalify (even for Silver).

Thoughts? I want to call and ask, but afraid they'll "correct" the problem.

I'd like to know because if I am still gold, I'll be booking far more travel on USAir. Actually going to book two tickets today and answering this question will determine which airline to use.

I have not received anything in the mail or email telling me that my status has been renewed (or not renewed).

Your current status is valid until the new divident miles program is introduced sometime in late spring.

Extended Status (http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/preferredlevels/preferred06.htm)

Knowing US, you could have it well into the summer.

I am not sure what happended in your case, but I think they have done a good job in communicating this.

I received at least 2 emails, it is on both web sites and has been on my last 2 statements that were emailed to me.

masonuc, it may be that you no longer have status, but all expired DM cards have been authorised to be honoured at their current status level until US DM merges with HP FlightFund, within the next couple of months. Status will then be reviewed. Hope this helps!
