I had dinner there on the 4th of this month.
Restaurant was packed and I was alone.
So sat at the bar. Had the Filet W/ mushrooms.
Food was good. Service was excellent.
Nice "wine by the glass list".
I think with 2 wines the meal was $ 60.00
The steak was cooked just right. Nice aging.
Small portion was the only complaint.
I think I like DelMonicos in the Venetian a bit better for
Filet taste and size.
But it is also a few more $$$.
Enjoy Vegas !!!

My suggestion is to cross the street to MGM and have a meal at Craftsteak.
i have dined a few times at gallagers
good food and you will spend 60-80 for one.
for two it will not double maybe 35-40 per person more
you can share the a`la carte vegetables with 2 or 3
the cowboy bone in ribeye i thought had the best flavor and a good size slab of meat
the NY strips that are the coolers out front i thought were to dry even cooked rare (did not like but i do not care for strip steaks but will eat a porterhouse steak but will leave most of the strip )
it is a small loud busy place
i like a table in the back by the grill
i like next door at MGM's Craftsteak better
slower pace and not as loud
maybe a little more money and if the casino is picking up the tab except for the tip i don't care about the cost and go for the Kobe ribeye that has the texture of a filet with the flavor of a ribeye without the hunks of fat
it will truely melt in your mouth
would like to be there having one right now
just let the server know that you need to make the show if the time will be close
i would still go to Gallagher's :D

I'd recommend Smith & Wolensky's near the MGM.

Last time I was at Gallagher's the service left much to be desired. I've had no urge to return there.
You'll be better off across the street at CraftSteak, or at Delmonico's at the Venetian.

Ditto. Went there with another FT'er. We both agreed it was the best steak we've ever had. Great waiter. Flew back to MDW with two managing partners of Wolensky's; they said their Chicago branch is not their best.
I like Gallagher's as well because of the lively NY-like atmosphere.
