I was wondering is it customary for locals to greet others/strangers with a cheek to cheek kiss. I had that happen to me twice and I'm now beginning to wonder if it's customary or was I taken advantage of. ;)

Absolutely customary.

Not to accept such is rude.

How about twice with the same person in one evening?

Uh, is there a hidden question in here somewhere? It's customary to say aloha and greet with a kiss upon meet-up and to say aloha at goodbye with a kiss.

Longer-time kama`aina can comment, but that has been my experience, albeit still very malihini.

Yea I was thinking one was for hello and the other for goodbye. What struck me as odd was I didn't see it done with another.

It is customary in most European countries, as well as here in Quebec, to give a double-kiss greeting when introduced to someone of the opposite sex. A mere handshake is a signal that you are either cold and uninviting, or, American. Take the kisses and run with it!

What he said.
In some cases, you'd almost have to be a fool to not accept it.
