Yes, I just stayed there last December. Nice property, and a short walk to the Arabella U-Bahn. Close to the lovely English Garden. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. That weekend promo is a very good rate, yevlesh2.

Here's something you might want to check out if you're flying into MUC:

There are two Arabella Sheratons, one right next door to the nother (or across the street, can't exactly remember). I *think* there is a free shuttle from the airport to the other Arabella Sheraton Grand Hotel. I could be wrong but it's worth asking about. It would definitely save the hassle of S-bahn to U-bahn transfer and/or expense of a taxi if you have luggage.

This is also one of FTer Counsellor's fave hotels when he's in town.

Was able to sneak a rez in for the World Cup period in June at the Four Points Munich ... ok so it was 480 EUR for 3 nights.. but everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is sold out and expensive then anyway due to the football.

True--we stayed there 3 years ago in July, it was VERY hot outside--and no a/c!? Yikes!
Luckily, this seems to be an oddity for this otherwise nice hotel in a nice area--reasonably close to stuff and decent network of public trams nearby.
