Anyone have experience booking suites in downtown Chicago? I'm helping plan my friend's bachelor's party, which will take place on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. Probably looking at 20-30 guys, half of whom will inevitably wind up crashing on the floor, so the suite should be at least 700 square feet or so. I'm also hoping to keep the price below $500.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm top-tier elite with both Hyatt and Starwood, but I don't think that will help me in this situation.

The Palmer House (Hilton) has a number of very nice suites, although I wouldn't tell them that you're planning on having 20 guys using the room... The pool table suite is supposed to be good.

The Presidential Suite at the Doubletree Guest Suites across from the Drake generally sells for about $600.

But don't tell them I sent you.

Please post the streaming video afterwards. :)

Thanks for the great suggestions. MDtR-Chicago, I hope your departure from Hilton wasn't an unpleasant one (though I fear it's the opposite). sonofzeus, the groom-to-be is fairly religious, so I'm afraid it's not that kind of bachelor's party, though we'll see how things (d)evolve :D
