Anyone know of any good hotel deals in Bangkok in May ? I prefer the JW Marriott, but see it is going for in excess of $120/night

PERFECT.
see www.biddingfortravel.com
they have detailed priceline bidding strategy.
jw marriot is what I have gotten 10/11 times (11th time I got westin sukhumvit).
I have always paid about $85-$97/night there.

Is this post not against the forum rules? I hope this forum doesn’t turn in a place for posts like this. :td:
If it’s the JW you want if you check out the Marriott forum there is a wealth of knowledge there and you should be able to get that rate down a bit or as stated it is on priceline.

It is. IIRC, the rule is similar to the mileage run forum, no asking about specific locations (itineraries). Of course that only applies if one reads the rules... :D

chrised, please read the welcome note at the top of the forum & see the purpose of this forum.
As you will note, this isn't the proper venue for your question. You may have better luck in the Asia forum or the Marriott forum or even the Travel Bidding forum (and some FT'ers have referred you to non-FT resources as well). Once you determine where you should go to find help (and feel free to send PM's if you need further advice), please repost your questions there.
In the meantime, I'm going to close this thread.
Thanks!
