I just called US to take advantage of one of the few remaining perks--the BofA $99 Companion pass. After the agent tried to price a fare for me in the first week of november she came back and said that travel must be completed by October 31!!!

...! I don't remember this being the case last year? Is this new or am I just out of the loop? Is there a new cert good beginning November 1?

I just used a BofA companion cert, and the expiration date on it was 1/31/06 for me. When does yours expire?

My wife just got her cert and hers is 149.00, not 99.00.

I just got mine: it is $99 each for up to two companions, $250 minimum fare, book by July 31, 2006. Travel between March 1, 2006 and February 28, 2007 with system wide holiday and city-specific special event blackouts. The comp club pass was also attached.

What is the SP # on that thing? We want to fly in May to PSP and we really need, because we want to ticket sometime this month. Can someone please PM it to me or post it? I have the Visa Sig from BOA card, so I do qualify. Thank You!

Yeah, my certif. states on the front of it, that all travel must be completed by October 31, 2006. However, T&C on the back of certificate (in "Other Important Restrictions") says all travel must be completed by JULY 31, 2006.

Star Code on these is SP0633.

FYI--I was looking at this certif and checking into it just before I read this thread. I called US and asked if the Certif is valid for former America West flights, and they told me IT IS! So, since it says it is usable within the continental US (instead of the lower 48 like Delta Amex Plat certificate), and is usable on former America West flights, I may be able to use the certif. to go fishing in Alaska with my son this summer.

YMMV

Sorry, this only works in US48. I called reservations! What a shame, I wanted Hawaii!

I think "travel must be completed by October 31, 2006" is a typo. Last year, you had to book travel by October 31, 2006. But, alas, don't have my new certs yet.

Ditto. 14 day advance purchase and Saturday overnight stay are required

My wife just got her cert and hers is 149.00, not 99.00.

Is it a Visa Signature card or a Platinum? The Signature card offers 2 $99 companion fares. I think the Platinum is $149.
