View Full Version : Enhanced meals or system error?

When trying to book a flight from MIA to PHL in late March, and then back to MIA in mid April, the flights within meal times all say Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a system error or the new management is planning on enhancing meals on short/medium flights? The latter is very hard to believe, though. There was a thread about meals saying that all flights over 3.5 hours will have meals in F, but all the flights to and from Florida and Philly are under 3.5 hours.

I think it's a system bug. Most of the JAX-PHL flights claim a meal in First with buy-on-board in coach, even the weekend E70 flights. Hasn't been a meal ever in the 2 years I've been flying this route regularly, including a couple weeks ago on an E70 where my itin said buy-on-board.

I fly MIA-PHL a lot. 7 times since jan 1st. NO MEALS! They did have meals until Feb 1. I was told that the new 3 1/2 hour is not a firm rule. On "competitive" routes--DEN, LAS, PHX...meals are on less then 3 1/2.

I always get a meal in F! It's a B.O.B meal usually.

That's Buy Off Board! Or if you prefer Bring on Board!

Remember at the NEW US Airways we're not happy until you're not happy!

Odd, didn't you get a small snack at least? It's usually a croissant or bagel with fruit for breakfast or half a sandwich for lunch and dinner.
