Have stayed in this hotel several times over the past few months. Can personally attest that it is pretty nice, esp for the $98 rate. If you have status, you get 2 bottles of water, 5 free breakfast coupons, and $5 credit in the gift shop for each night of your stay. Fridge and microwave in room (to make cereal and popcorn that you can purchase from the grocery across the street). Room service comes from a decent french restuarant located next door and restaurant row located nearby.

and oh yeah, since you are on 8th ave, all the porn shops that were cleared out of times square a few years ago are just steps from your door. ;)

seriously, porn shops aside, i really like this hotel. beds were surprisingly comfy.

I've been spoiled by the various great deals here...

With a basic rate of $143 (coming up on travelocity) this barely deserves a mention :rolleyes:

Perhaps we need two Hotel subcategories:
- decent non-mistake discounts you're likely to get without a lot of aggravation
- mistakes that may cost you more in aggravation than you save

Tomorrow the 19th and Monday The 20th
It is mostly Sundays and Mondays that are still left. They are going quickly
Last I looked they still had select nights left right into early March. Not sure how many other dates are left as well.
The Metropolitan Doubletree has rooms too for 139 which is also very fair

Parking is also a good deal at 26 dollars a night according to the hotel.
If the hotel is any good I may move more of my business there.
Its a great way to try it as a first timer there.
I probably would have never given it a try as I almost always go the 4 Star poperties and up typically.
There usually is little difference in price.
