I have a booking at the Coral Reef Waikiki from March 3-5. I looked at many different sites for reviews on this hotel and they seem pretty bad. I just wanted to see if anyone has stayed at this hotel and what was your overall experience. I am willing to spend around $300 for the two nights but I dont know what hotel I should stay at within my price range. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

We had a good experience at the Waikiki Parc in late November. We thought that the Sunrise Package was a good deal. Nice, clean hotel. No fancy lobby or shops, but we didn't care about that. Very close to both beach and Waikiki strip. Some have complained of early morning noise from delivery trucks, but we didn't notice it.

The past few days I've randomly met two people originally from Oahu--they were cracking up when I told them I was staying at the Coral Reef. But the laughter ended when I told them how much I paid.

Yeah, it's not going to be nice...but it fits into the charm of a $94 vacation nicely. Can't wait!
