I just fell into a wealth of USAirways goodies at work including two Dividend Miles Status Upgrades from USAirways Corporate Dividends and three North America Space Poitive Upgrades (SPUs). As a result of my new found wealth I have a couple of questions.

1) Two of my SPUs expired Dec 31, 2005, can I still use them on my next trip in March or are they no good at all?

2) Can I redeem both of the Status Upgrades to go from no status to Gold instead of Silver or should I just give the second one to a friend?

3) Am I better off using the Status Upgrades now before the 4 tier elite system comes in or should I wait until it comes to use; the certs expire on May 31, 2006.

You can try calling Customer Affairs and they may be able to fax you an authorization to use them later or send others. You may try simply using them also, they may not notice at the gate.

No, if they are the certificate I remember it is clearly written on them that they can be used only to upgrade from no status --> silver. They cannot be used for upgrading from silver --> gold either.

Won't change a thing; if they expired after May 31st you could have tried to get status for this year and the following, but usually this is allowed only if the upgrade is done after June 15th.
