I'd love to surprise my boyfriend's sister with a gift certificate to a local baby boutique. Somewhere fairly upscale but not crazy expensive.

I found a few online that sound promising, would love some feedback.

Calliope
33 Brattle St, Cambridge, MA

Petit Patapon
25 Central St, Wellesley, MA

Any other ideas?

Those are both nice shops, but they're in fairly different parts of the Boston area....

There are a number of baby shops in the Back Bay (Newbury street area) but they're all on the expensive side.

But then, so is Calliope. I've been in a few times but I've never actually BOUGHT anything there.

Petit Patapon, which is located in Wellesley, is terrific. If you order from their on-line site (petitpatapon.com), the package is delivered from Portugal, which is impressive (but still arrives quickly).

Bon Point is a beautiful (and expensive -- this may be in the crazy expensive category) store on Arlington Street between Boylston and Newbury. Their stuff is very impressive.

Kenzy Kids, in the Chestnut Hill Mall, is a decent store with some very nice high end stuff.
