It appears that only their properties in europe are coming up with any availablity and it's running out fast, most of their premium range hotels are now unavailable with this offer.

Sorry, but i think you'll find it's not....

For example the Barceló Torre Arias in Madrid is still pricing at 72EUR all in for 2 nights in august (I chose fri 25-27 aug) - sure there are loads more...

...or if you are from the uk and pick up a cheap charter flight there is loads of availablity in the canaries(ok probably the wrong forum for this :D )

The 4* Barcelo Fuerteventura Thalasso Spa is showing loads of availablity up until December for 75% off rack rate

7 nights in May is pricing up at £150 on a HB (DBB) basis, same deal is £480 on other holiday hotel websites.

travelzoo.co.uk have it on their site now as well but telling you to call, after using the barcelo website I can understand why...

The 75% off rack rate needs to be booked using Internet Explorer. The Barcelo site is very slow as usual. I just booked a 3 night all-inclusive for 2 people for late June at the Montelimar resort in Nicaragua for the wonderful price of $100.50 including tax. Last time I was at that property it cost me $130 per night for 2 people. I am already in Nicaragua so its no biggie heading over to Montelimar. I checked one of their properties in Costa Rica but it was pricing at almost twice the amount. This offer requieres payment at the time of reservation and it does say no changes are allowed. I thinking of booking another vacation for May but I have to check with my companion.

If you click on the Offers & Promotions link on the homepage, you will then be able to check for the 75% deal by hotel until the end of the year.

Nah, looks like only limited rooms are available, you'll be able to book until they are gone.

priced up 7 nights AI for 2 in the Bavaro Beach Resort (Punta Cana) for $310 all in. about $100 extra for the Bavaro Palace (nicer resort)

I was able to get the rate and dates I needed for Madrid in August but all of their rooms are limited to 2 or 3 people and I'm traveling with a family of 4

The website is working. I was able to book 2 rooms for 2 nights each at the Barcelo Torre Arias in Madrid in August for a total of $144.44 euro. No cancellations are permitted. Thanks for posting this special offer! What is the best way to travel from the airport to this hotel?

All of you are right. The website is awful. It helps to be able to read some Spanish. And if you play with it enough you will learn its quirks.

Just returned from a week at the Barcelo BAVARO resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Paid about $90 per person per night, although we did have cheap $9.00 tickets to Punta Cana on Spirit Airlines. We paid for the Bavaro Caribe hotel (one of five in the complex) but received a complimentary upgrade to the Bavaro Palace/Premium, which is the best of the five. It has bigger rooms which were more accessible to my handicapped daughter, and its guests have exclusive use of the Brisas seafood restaurant overlooking the beach. (Otherwise, guests at any of the hotels can dine at any buffet or specialty restaurant that is part of the all inclusive).

Had a great time.

When I came back I learned of the 75% off Anniversary Offer and promptly booked another stay the last week of November at $20 per person per night.

The toll free number is 1-800-barcelo. I had to book the 75% off rate on the web, but I did get useful info through the toll free number.
