Thanks for the post! I've always found the Kimpton restaurants to be excellent. Due to a business I'm involved with booking it's annual meeting at a Kimpton Hotel, I've had a chance to try out too many of their restaurants ^

My favorites are:

1. Atwood Cafe (Hotel Burnham - Chicago): Great food and the chef is a great cook and an excellent person.

2. Pazzo (Hotel Vintage Plaza - Portland): Good food, nice relaxed environment. For group dinners, you can even book the bakery next door to the restaurant. Nice change from the usual stuffy, formal hotel restaurant atmosphere.

3. Panzano (Hotel Monaco - Denver): Excellent food, great service. First time I've ever bought a round of drinks for the chefs, the kitchen staff and our waiters. We had a group of ~20 and they made our night a memorable one. The chef has changed since I last ate there, but I've been told they're still maintaining the quality that's expected from a Kimpton restaurant.
