Does El Al offer RTW tickets? I am looking to fly from India to Israel to Europe to the USA, and I do not want to go through a European hub multiple times.
My trip can theoretically be only on LY's partner airlines (inc. codeshare flights, which are allowed): JFK-(AA codeshare)-SCL-(Qantas codeshare)-SYD-(Qantas codeshare)-BOM-(El Al)-TLV-(El-Al)-AMS-(AA)-JFK.
Any ideas?

I don't know if LY does, but AA does, and that should get you both LY and QF (and CX and BA...)

The only AA RTW fare I could find was I on OneWorld airlines, i.e. excluding LY: http://www.aa.com/content/be/agency/bookingTicketing/owExplorerIntro.jhtml
Am I missing something?
That's why I was trying to find if LY has any RTW options. Qantas and AA, both LY partners, promote only their global alliance fares.

El Al's RTW fare is via Sydney.
Something like TLV - HKG/BKK/BOM - SYD - LAX - LHR - TLV

Any approximation on the price of such a ticket?
How about points? :p

Where could I get more information? What airlines are allowed (esp. for trans-pacific leg)?

i think its with one world. You will probably fly with QF.
Check with any travel agent.
You can call mine if you want. I asked her the same question last week. I need to do TLV - HKG - NYC - TLV.
She told me the only RTW ticket LY sells is via Sydney.

I finally called them. It seems like they don't really have a RTW ticket.
What they do have is a joint ticket with any single one of their partner (AA, Delta, Qantas, etc. that technically allows you to fly RTW. The only restriction is that you can only fly El Al plus a single partner. I didn't price it, but it sounds like the ticket price is dependant on the cities/stops, like any regular ticket.

That means that TLV - HKG/BKK/BOM - SYD - LAX - LHR - TLV won't work
:( because AFAIK no one world airline flies HKG/BKK/BOM - SYD and LAX-LHR, unless you can fly LY and CX TLV-HKG-SYD-HKG-LHR-TLV, but thats not really RTW.
Cheers

I think that you're meant to fly El Al to HKG/BKK/BOM, then Qantas to SYD and then to LAX and then back to El Al for the last segment LAX to TLV.

Ooh. But I thought LY flew LAX-YYZ-TLV, not LAX-LHR-TLV
