Search isn't working. Aside from donating them, is there anything I can do with 1000 US miles?

I thought you could get magazines for miles, but maybe they changed that.

It's just 1000 miles. Either earn another 19,000 for a free ticket or forget about them.

You used to be able to redeem points through Milepoint, but the relationship with US Airways ended sometime between the beginning of the year and last week (when I noticed it).

You can always try Points.com to try to convert at rip-off rates. I see 1000 DM to 58 AA miles! :p But if you really have no use for the miles, I guess donate them or convert. Try the conversion tool at webflyer.com for options.

Cool, guess I'll donate them. FYI the miles are in a deceased relatives account, they got the 1000 miles for signing up but ended up cancelling the trip they were supposed to fly. I had no idea the account was still open until I got the email from US about the HP merger (one of my email accounts was in the US DM account) and so I logged in and discovered there were miles in it.
