Since I still don't have access to many of the boards :( , this seemed like the most logical place to post it...

Free mini bottle of vodka...supposed to be better than all the top brands. Tell me what you think?

Wow, free booze, and not even in business class...

So are they going to send it to us? (Seems like they could run into some legal problems with that.) Or e-mail a coupon?

I signed up but I wondered the same thing. Here in the Baptist belt, it's practically illegal to mail a drawing of an empty vodka bottle.

Not sure ...I am just the messenger. You can also call 1-800-297-5180. Maybe if you sign up and call, they will send you two...almost enough for a tiny buzz. :D

The version of the website that I viewed says that they will "send you a special offer for the miniature, along with a list of retailers where you can buy the miniature. Clever way to (a) verify age and (b) get you into a retailer's store.

I had forgotten about the age issue, but I thought it was incredibly difficult to send alcohol through the mail so was not expecting actual booze to arrive in my mailbox.

Anyone gotten theirs yet?

This is so timely! Last week I popped into my normal liquor store and was talking about vodka with the owner. He asked me if I had tried this one and pops out the tasting kit shown on the site.

He said in his opinion, it was on par with Grey Goose. I told him I'd have to try it sometime. Who knew it would be for free? :p

Never got mine either. Filled it out the first day that the OP posted it.

Hey gang. I haven't received mine either. Click on the link provided by OP, and it still works. The fine print said to please allow 4 to 6 weeks, which would make it next week sometime if you signed up, as I did, on the first day it was posted.

As far as getting SPAMMED, who knows. I use a hotmail account for all my entries, and get a load of SPAM every day.

Nope.

Sorry to hear the coupons / offer has not arrived yet. I saw the original offer as a full-page ad in the WSJ on the same day I posted this message - so it didn't come from some fly-by-night website. Sorry if this has caused the company to send advertising.

Hope the offer arrives soon.

Guess what finally came in the mail...

The enclosed cert comes with a list of local and regional retailers that sell the product. Not worth the effort for a free mini.

Don't know if I'll get the free bottle since this thread is a bit old. Did anyone else receive the bottle? Was it good?

It's easy enough to call the 800 number listed above to make a request. Thanks for the info.

I got a fancy letter last week apologizing that they couldn't send me a free mini due to TX state law. It included the aforementioned list of retailers selling the stuff.

But, I wouldn't call mine a 'certificate' as nothing free was available at said retailers either.

It seems to me they could have printed the 'invalid states' on the original website. All in all, a total waste!

I finally got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago. It is basically a rebate. You have to send them in your receipt to get $5 back. Doubt that you can get much with $5. Mine did not include a list of retailers like one of the previous posters mentioned.

I got the same letter (I'm in Houston). I totally agree with DallasBill that they could have told me up front that the free offer wasn't valid in TX....rather than make me wait by the mailbox for the mailman to come every day for 16 weeks.

Now I'm wondering if mine will arrive after all. I'm in OR. Did the letter say what other states are not eligible? Like you said, it would have been nice to have the restrictions listed right there on the website.

The Pravda "kit" containing a small bottle and two martini glasses retails for $4.95 here in WA. We have state stores here, with inventory of each outlet available online; they will order/send some to one's local branch upon request. Or, you can get $5 back on purchase of a full bottle.
