I have a 2 1/2 hr. layover in PHL tomorrow. Any good place to kill some time?
Also do I need to head over to F right away? I have seen FT'ers mention a bus. Where do I catch the bus to F? Any hints or tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

You catch the bus over to F at gate C16.... down at the lower level there. It's right before you go down the C concourse.

Not a need to head over there immediately, but personally I'd go that way about an hour before departure. They frequently have gate changes within the F concourse, and it really isn't that horrible of a facility (certainly better than many regional concourses at other carriers). If you aren't a Club member, there's shopping mall area of sorts between B and C.... and a few sit-down restaurants like a TGIs.

F'ed has a little place that does cheesesteaks and the required Philly pretzel vendor, too. For a commuter terminal, F'ed has decent vendors.

In the walk over to C to catch the bus, there are the rockers like in CLT at the enterance to the club (across from the food court). It's a great location if you like to sit and watch the planes move around B, C and the main runway. I've killed lots of time there now that I'm not a club member (and you might run into a fellow FTer who has a club membership ;) ).

I would stay in the B/C food court shopping area as opposed to going to terminal F. Also, I have found the pretzels cost more in terminal Fthen in B or C. If you want to walk go down to A west and look around, but it is a long way. They do have some different retaurants over there.

Sitting here in the food court now at PHL about to head over to F. Having wireless does allow you to kill a lot of time. :)
