I have about 150,000 United miles and about 150,000 US Miles. I want to get 2 First class award tickets which "cost" 150,00 miles each. Will it be necessary to make 2 separate award reservations or can I make 1 reservation and have the miles pulled from the 2 different accounts?

I recently did the same thing. you will have to ticket with each carrier seperately. I recommend calling US first if you plan on booking any UAL flights, becuase US customers get fewer award seats on UAL flights than UAL customers. So, once you put your US flights on hold, you can then call UAL.
