Yes, they're having a tropical storm or something down there.
I'm presently on the phone trying to book an award reservation for somebody for tomorrow. The website has gotten through the seat selection three times and each time tells me there has been an error and it may or may not have taken it. US reps on the phone say it didn't process.... I'm trying now to get them to just book it for me over the phone and waive the $70 or whatever in booking fees.

An update:
They aren't sure when website support will be back up.
However, agents have been handed a memo in the last couple of hours stating that if the customer mentions they had web booking difficulties, they are to waive the telephone booking charges.
I got the res ticketed that I needed to.... though it took a little while as the agent's computer went down, as did all the others in her row and had to wait a little bit for them to reboot the system.
Outstanding US agent though.
