Anyone here familiar with sailing around Sweden either with their own boat or a hired one?

You cannot really sail "around" Sweden as it's not an island, but you could sail from Bohuslän, the county just by the Norwegian boarder, around the southern cape of Sweden, and all the way through the Baltic sea to northern Sweden and the Finnish border, but that's going to take weeks...
I would rather recommend you to hire a boat and explore the archipelago of Stockholm which is huge with more than 30,000 islands, that's where most locals go in the summer. It's really nice!!

I don't mean sail literally around Sweden; I meant sail around the coast of Sweden. ;)
When we go boating around Florida, we don't take the boat over land generally. :D
Any companies/firms you recommend for hiring to sail "around" the archipelago and more there?

But GUWonder could make a shortcut through Göta Kanal ;)
Anyway, I´ve allways wanted to make that trip.

No more Visingso for me.... and certainly no more cold Vatterns water please. Although stopping by for a bit more of that freshly-made candycane in Granna is not a bad idea.
