I am planning a trip to Cancun out of AMS with US Airways in Businness First all the way to Cancun.

What kind of service / meals can I expect?
Your AMS-PHL flight will be pretty nice (though not as nice as other trans-atlantic Business class). You will fly the B767 which is slightly worn but still a large business class seat with personal TV's with a few movie and a few other programming selections. Not on-demand however. Expect an appetizer (italian ham and melon or smoked salmon are common), and then a choice of four entrees, a pretty good bread basket followed by a plate with a small desert, few chesses and a little fruit. Wine selection (esp. reds) are pretty good. You will get a smaller snack before arrival in PHL - pizza, salad and cookies are common. Snacks are available throughout the flight. PHL-CUN will be pretty lousy food service - expect a small sandwich with some fruit served without linen. Drinks will be in plastic. Seat will be a typical domesitc first seat (unless you are on the B767 but I think that is a morning departure from PHL) which is a litttle wider than coach with about a 38" pitch. Hope that helps.

I got hot food on a recent Caribbean flight from CLT. An Italian dish. It was quite good.

Aruba. I cleared into F at the gate with my girlfriend, and I was warning her to expect a turkey club. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that hot italian dish with a great salad. It was like the old days.
On the way back into CLT from AUA, we didn't clear into F but they served hot food on that flight in F as well--I saw it.

On the way back into CLT from AUA, we didn't clear into F but they served hot food on that flight in F as well--I saw it.
St. Croix still has hot meals as well, much to my delight as that is where I live/travel to and from.
