Anybody use a SE T616 cell phone in DEL?

From the research I could do it seems like the three major networks - Airtel, Bharati and Idea are all 900Mhz carriers.

My T616 is a 800/1900/1800 Mhz phone.

I know it would work in BOM cos Orange has a part 1800 network - but does DEL have any 1800 network?

If it'll work in Bombay, then it will work in Delhi too. www.gsmworld.

Naah its not necessary I think for it to work in DEL if it works in BOM.

But anyway from the URL you posted i noted ...

Hutchison Essar Mobile Services Limited (Hutch-Delhi - City of Delhi)
GSM 900/1800

So Hutch does have 1800 service in Delhi. So I believe I should be good! Thanks so much for your help!

All the bands working in Bombay will work in Delhi -- either on the same or different telco carriers. Courtesy of government licensing.
