Hello US FTers,

I signed up for a Silver Challenge last month and I have surpassed the 6,250 miles on US metal about two weeks ago. My question is does US ever check those FF accounts that have challenges or do I need to call them?

P.S. These past two months without US preferred status for the first time in 11 years have been rough. I did get two segments upgraded using the B of A VISA Signature and the old ($30) purchased upgrade certificates.

I did a challenge earlier this year; I emailed the person who offered me the challenge right after the final miles posted and my account was upgraded shortly after that.

My status had changed as soon as the flights posted when I did a SP challenge back in 2003. Give them a call and just make sure everything's in order.

I did a challenge about a year ago. After the miles posted, the system appearntly does a sweet overnight, so you should expect your new status to be reflected 4 days after your last qualifying flight.
