View Full Version : Seeking disability-friendly beach resorts

My brother-in-law gets around partly by a mechanized chair, partly by crutches. He and my sister-in-law are looking for a tropical beach resort/hotel where he could manage to get around fairly easily. He wouldn't bring the chair with him. It would need to be a place in which the room/cottage is easy to get to from the lobby and where the beach is easy to get to from the room/cottage or even where the cottage sits on top of the water. And of course related considerations, such as it should not be too hilly, would apply. They live in Oregon, though would be willing to travel a good distance for the right place.

Thanks for any suggestions.
