I just checked my DM account and the 20,000 preferred miles have posted to my account. Now if we can have an airline to use them with, it would be a great day.

I got 5002 miles posted on Dec 25. 2k, 3k, 1 and 1 miles. Still missing the last 4000 mile bonus which is important, as I currently have 24500 status miles :)

pitflyer, what's the deal with the "1 and 1 miles"? This is what my account says today - "20th Anniversay 2K Miles - 1 mile"
What about the 1,000 mile bonus or have I totally misunderstood the promo? Any light that could be shed on this would be helpful.
Thanks all!

Just a note:
I had a trip booked online that I did not get credit for (initially).
Due to interesting weather and mechanical issues, it did not go off quite as planned.
With the ticket being re-issued no less than 3 times, including a 120 onto another carrier, it took a call to the DMSC to get the issue resolved, and they had to put me on some kind of "exceptions list" in order to get credit (I'll wait and update if that does not post).
The moral of the story is that if your record is altered or ticket re-issued, you may have some legwork to do to get the bonus. FWIW, I also got a "1" mile posting, as well as my initial 2k (for a trip that went off without a hitch).

I am due three bonuses from trips in Dec 2004. I have received two dated 12/25, 2k, 3k, and 1 and 1 mile postings. Don't know why, but all 1001 miles seem to have posted as preferred and regular miles. With the last missing bonus I am just short of Silver Preferred, and since others have had another round post on 12/31, I emailed Dividend Miles to see if something went wrong. My last trip was 12/16-12/19 and was on schedule.

They did this 1 mile thing in the Fly 3, Fly Free promotion too. Both promotions appear to be using an external system to generate the credits on a periodic basis rather than the normal flight posting routine. Why it takes two entries is a mystery -- but look at the bright side! Maybe they reused the code and saved a couple of dollars!

We can only hold out hope that somebody abstracted the GOM code into a method that is subsequently re-used.

Would that qualify as polymorphism? ;)
