OK, Nordic-husband and I decided to use up our orphan US miles while we still can. We've ordered magazine subscriptions for ourselves, friends, relatives and coworkers. However, given the limited variety, we still have 1300 miles left to get rid of. Is anyone interested in a free subscription?

Go to www.milepoint.com and look at the listing of magazines (tab in the right uppper corner, I believe). First one to pmail me with a request can have it.

i was going to do this too - burn through my miles (25K!) on a 10+ yr renewal subscription to Time, but was told by the service center that the limit is only 3 terms of any one magazine :(

lol....and it is difficult to choose magazines from their list after a while. I just couldn't bring myself to order Parenting, Cigar Afficianado or Bass. I wish the choices were a bit more mainstream, but heck...since they don't cost me anything but unusable miles, who am I to complain. Although, I'm quite excited. I just walked out to the mail box and found my first issue of the Economist. I've been waiting for that!

There is a post in buzz about calling a phone number to subscribe to the economist. 4000 US miles/yr for economist is the cheapest you can find for that magazine
