Anyone know what a paper US Air ticket is worth if the airline liquidates?

I currently have 4 award E tickets to St Thomas in late January. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to convert them to paper tickets (at $50 a pop). Is it likely that another airline would do something for me if I have paper, or are they as worthless as e-tickets.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Personally I don't think it matters e or paper and no one really knows. There is no law out there anymore (as i understand it) that forces another airline to honor your tickets.

If you really feel a need to throw away $200 send me a PM and I'll give you wiring instructions...

Looks like about $1.25, although it may not have the cachet of being semi-antique:

People feel that if they can hold and touch something it is bound to be worth more than something in the cyber world. Wait, a cyber girl is not even in the same league as a real woman! What are we to do? ;)

Incidentally, the BOS-GSP ticket being auctioned cost $64.74 in 1961, which is about $400 in today's money. The current cheapest fare on USAirways.com for that route is $138.00. A little perspective on why the airlines are in such trouble.
