In mid January, I am on flight 931 LGA-CLT connecting to flight 1141 CLT-BZE. My flight is scheduled to arrive at 9:41am and my next flight is scheduled to depart at 10:35am. On the web site, the dependability of flight 931 is "Flight arrives on time 80-89.9% of the time".

Do you think I have enough time to make my connection or should I reschedule my first flight to arrive at 9:11am?

Provided there are no unusual delays, you will have more than enough time. The walk from the end of "C" to the end of "B" will take no more than 10 minutes. Even from the end of "E" (commuter gates) to the end of "B" is not more than 15 minutes. Of course I have very long legs and a long stride. :D

CLT IMHO is the easiest of airports to transfer in. CLT seldom has weather delays and this early in the day they are not likely. LGA could be problem though and my guess is that the 10-20% of the time it is late is due to traffic out of there.

But if those odds still bother you it will be worth the peace of mind to catch the earlier flight, that is unless it is a Barbie Jet. :p

BTW, most of my twice weekly connects through CLT average in the 35-40 minute range, and I can't remember missing one in a long time.

In CLT, that's enough time to take a leisurely stroll through the concourses, take a brief nap in the rocking chairs in the atrium, and of course, grab a Cinnabon :D

I did a 55min stop over with my 2 year old and 7 year old a few weeks ago. We even had time to get lunch.

As a veteran of the Charlotte Shuffle over many many years on US/PI, I can tell you that 55 minutes is more than enough time to make a connection at CLT.

I agree with l4pi that CLT, along with PIT are very easy to make connections in.

Now, let's not talk about PHL. ;)

Heck you even have enough time to grab a cold one and take in some local color at the Stock Car bar/cafe! ;)

Speak for yourself! Short and short stride! I've run through CLT on more than one occasion....

It had to have been the delayed flights from PHL.

Sadly, you are correct. :(
