Anyone have any idea what will happen to the 330 and 767 when PIT- LGW & FRA service is discontinued?

Not the 330, that will go onto another transatlantic route I assume.

Welcome to flyertalk and US forum. I hope you learn as much here as I have.
I have no idea what the answer to you question is, however when first reading you post title, I thought you were talking about me. :D To be honest with the you, I'm hoping they put the 767 on the GSO/CLT route. :)
Again welcome to FT

Have read on other forum that multiple (2?) 767 to be painted in Star alliance colors by end of November. So in the near term (November) they might be down for maintenance. Lets hope they fix up the interiors as well (assuming they will still paint planes in view of BK). Where they go after that is a guess.

I don't think they have enough widebodies to take them fully out of service (park them in the desert). I'd hope they could use them as standby spares for some other aircraft that need to go in for their heavy checks, mx issues, painting, etc.

Last Winter, the 767's were going to STT, SJU, CUN, NAS and MCO. I fully epect to see them utilized again in the FL and Carrib routes.
The 330 will likely continue serving Europe, with the daily PHL-SJU-PHL flight, as well. With very expensive heavy maintenance coming due on these starting next year, though, the CEO has publically said USAirways will park them rather than do the mandated overhaul if they don't get the concessions they need from the employees.

Hourly 767 service on this route would certainly suit L4P. Then there should be lots of A330 service from CLT to take him to places like ILM and AGS.

The 767 will be returning to STT, MCO, CUN, & SJU this winter. They may also be making appearances again in NAS and SDQ if they can boast their cargo.
