It's a nice idea, but I wonder how it would affect evacuation ability, as well as just general movement, as you know most airlines will go for "high capacity" over "high comfort".

I really don't think we'll see this anytime soon. Note that AA just now effectively killed off their MRTC by adding back coach seats to most fleet types.
