USAIR has a triple miles bonus deal from PHL to LAX ending 9/1. I need to know how many miles you get for that trip normally so I can tell if the triple miles brings me to the miles needed for a free domestic RT ticket. Does anyone know the milage earned for this trip, or is there a chart I can reference at Flyertalk or USAIR?

Also, does USAIR price match competitor prices? I checked and another airline has the same flight for $20 less. It's only $20, but read my name! If so, do I book first then call for an adjustment? This bonus miles deal states you have to book on-line.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The normal mileage is 2.401. With the Gofare, you get a 4,802 more. That's a total of 14,406 for the roundtrip. I don't know if US matches others' fares.

PHL -> LAX is 2401 miles one way

Plus you will get the Go Fare Bonus.

U will not just match another Airlines fare. There may be some fares that match the competitor but like everything it is capacity controlled.

Good luck

But keep in mind that in order to receive the 3X miles, you need to book on usairways.com. Otherwise you only get 2X miles.

Thank you all for your replies. Now, if I could only remember the name of the California amusement park I saw on the Travel Channel that had all the funky grafted trees, and the city it was located in.

I haven't been to either of these in a while, but could be referring to Magic Mountain (Valencia) or Knott's Berry Farm (Buena Park)?

It wasn't a chain, it was a (small?) park created by a multi-millionaire. The land was purchased from an eccentric gardener who grafted trees into all kinds of shapes. It was very unusual. I'll have to dig through the listings to find it.
