I propose this as a one-stop-shopping thread for anyone seeking final details regarding this weekend's festivities. I have personally found it difficult to sort out details from numerous different threads (which admittedly is probably attributable to my poor attention span), and many of them have become outdated and irrelevent.
If someone would please answer a couple of questions for me and then once details get finalized (here or elsewhere), they can be posted conspicuously here for others' review.
1. Do we need to have some sort of ticket or identification for the event on Saturday? I have seen suggestions elsewhere that we will be in some sort of private-access part of the Linc for this event, so I'd imagine we'll be needing to identify ourselves somehow? I have received only an email confirmation that my PayPal payment was received. Do I need to do anything besides show up?
2. How are tickets to the baseball game being managed. There has been indication somewhere that the game was "sold out"; however, we purchased our tickets as part of the original PayPal payment and have heard nothing since about them.
3. Has anybody thought about what they are going to wear to the event at the Linc? I have to do my packing tomorrow.
4. Who will be in town Friday night, and where/when will people interested in meeting for a drink or nine be getting together?
5. Based on posts in other threads, it's beginning to sound like people are interested in getting together for lunch/brunch on Saturday morning. When the final decision is made about where/when this will take place, please post that here as well. We're staying at the Crown Plaza/Center City, but it sounds like most folks are out by the airport.
6. Are there any specific logistical/planning needs that remain unsettled? If so, coordinators, this may be a good place to recruit some help. If not, great. But my wife and I will be in town Friday morning, and after we get done with her Tour de Philly (i.e. the "Neiman Marcus Last Call" store), we can help out with anything else that needs to be done.
We're looking forward to putting some faces together with these screen names. See y'all in a few days.

Here's my shot at the tough questions....
1. I think Ira already said we need to have a photo id to get into the grounds as it's a secured area. Beyond that, I think Ira/Bob will match names to registrations once there.
2. I would assume if you paid for the game, our organizing crew will get those to us at the meeting.
3. Clothing. I was discussing this with l4pi this morning in CLT. I am sporting what I wore to SFO this morning (washed before Saturday, of course)... my US Airways polo shirt accessorized with my Cockroach pin, and a pair of denim shorts... my typical teaching garb for the dungeon in above 65 degree weather in WV. I supposed if one wants to go all out and do suit/tie, go ahead. But I wouldn't wear that to a ballgame. This is as much a fun event as anything else. Be comfortable not stuffy.
4. I'm getting into PHL about 9:10 Sat morning. I think SS255 mentioned they were getting in on Fri night... don't know about anyone else.
5. We're working on the lunch plans... they'll be posted when finalized.
6. You might want to ask Ira/PB. l4pi, Gretchyn and I are having enough fun putting together lunch. ;) (But it's a fun we love to do... remember this is going to be FUN!) I can't wait to meet everyone! Hey, if l4pi and I are two sick puppies after our drinks last night in GSO and flying down to CLT this morning, what will that make our whole pack on Saturday in Philly???
:D
Anyway, hope that helps.

Here are some answers based on the discussions that Bob, Ira, Tom and I have had this week. Pretty much what Jim said, with a few updates.
1. Just show up and bring your government issued photo ID, in case Eagles security is real tight. We'll check-in beginning at 1 PM or possibly a few minutes earlier.
2. I have the tickets and they will be distributed with your packet on Saturday afternoon.
3. How about business casual or a notch below that. I'm a khaki and golf shirt kind-of-guy myself.
4. Deferred to others.
5. Deferred to others.
6. We will need a few hearty souls to help with final room set-up at noon on Saturday. Other volunteers will be asked to keep notes during the break-out sessions (We'll supply pens and paper). Notes will be typed in the next two weeks and sent to all attendees.
See you on Saturday.

I'm already getting PMs about check-in, so here is the drill.
NO , there will not be any kiosks available, so no miles will be given for kiosk check-in.
NO , there is no on-line checkin or bonus available.
NO upgrades will be given at the gate. You get to choose whatever seats you want. All seats are the same size. Deal with it. ;)

Ok, there appears to be the tentative list of those wishing to have a little pre-fest fun and food. We will be meeting at McFadden’s, which is located across the street from Phillies stadium, and it opens for lunch at 11:00 AM. As soon as the information is available for McFadden’s, I will edited this thread and post it here. This spot will enable those of us who need to be at LF by 12:00 to eat and be there by noon. The others can stay and visit with each other until closer to 1:00 PM. This spot will also be easier for those not staying out by the airport.

MaFadden is on the third base side of Citizens Bank Park. BillMorrow has provided a link to a map which indicates the location of this property.

and a detailed stadium map...

There is also a description of the resturant on this link provided by BillMorrow. Requires registration.
As you can see this is very close to Lincoln Field. The entrance to the meeting is gained by parking in the Mercedes Benz VIP Parking Lot Located on the southwest side of the stadium and section 206 on the stadium map. (Blue section on Bill’s map named “West Suites Parking” or closest sections to I-95)
Thanks to Bill for providing the links and maps

For those riding in my van from the Marriott......
There has been a change in plans based upon picking a place for lunch. I arrive in PHL at 9:48 AM and will need to pick up the van. I will come straight to the Marriott and we will leave for lunch at McFadden's no later than 10:45 AM. ( see post above) If everyone can be ready by 10:30 we will leave earlier or as soon as I can get there.

I have to be at Lincoln Financial Field at the stroke of noon to have a prayer of getting this thing set up even slightly correct. So unless the group wants to get up early and meet for brunch at say 10:30 then I think I should respectfully decline.

To those riding in the van, I need to be at LF by noon so Jimcfsus has agreed to drive the van to LF leaving the Marriott around 12:30 PM. We will post on this thread where to meet at the Marriott.

Hi,
I seem to remember the PHL airport is on the same level as the security check points. Does anyone know if it is closer to A, B, C, D, etc. etc.? SIs there some kind of tunnel or walkway or is it just off the airport gate level?
Also besides the airport Mariott, are people thinking of other hotels? I stayed once at the PHL Hilton, and I'm sure there are several hotels around PHL. Anyone know for instance which hotels are closer to the airport?

I'm staying at the Airport Fairfield... mainly because I had a voucher. There should be a lot of hotels nearby. You can always to a search on Sidestep or try to book a winner on Priceline.

I'm going to suggest that we reconsider lunch at the McFadden's, rather than the Marriott. I understand that it's short walk to Lincoln Field. They open at 11am on Saturday (verified by phone) and that would give Piney and the others doing setup a chance to meet & greet and get a quick bite before going to the stadium. Someone also mentioned that parking for locals attending would be better there that at the airport.
On another front, there will be quite a few of us at the PHL Marriott on Saturday night. Karen and I will be around that evening if anyone is interested in drinks.

The Philly locals who suggested this have hit a big homer here. (Pun intended... it's near the football stadium at the adjacent ballpark for the Phillies.). :p
I found another site (http://www.aroundphilly.com/cdp.php?i=1014) with more info on it. Looks like a good sports bar with good Irish/pub type food.
Since I have more time waiting for the SEA-PHL redeye tonight, here's yet another site (http://www.mcfaddensphilly.com) I found that has more info... it's on their original location in Philly. I'm guessing the menus are comparable.
