Anyone know generally how easy it is to upgrade DCA-NAS and back on the nonstops? I'll be flyign it in a few weeks with a companion, and I'm wondering how easy/difficult it is to upgrade.

Also, does anyone know why a lot of Monday returns on that flight are sold out or close to sold out? Is it just long weekend vacationers returning (cuz that's what we're doing)?

Generally, Carribean flights are good for upgrades. I don't know specifically about NAS.

Flying from SXM-PHL, I didn't I would have a problem clearing first with 3 open seats as a US1. I checked in 2 hours before and was number 4 on the list. Eventually I cleared, but my companion didn't. Generally I wouldn't think Caribbean flights have that many preferreds but I was wrong that day. Going down, I was the only US1 on the flight as I asked the check-in agent to verify.
