View Full Version : Inspite of the website, customer service comes through again

I had another try at making reservations on the US website. Wouldn;t accept my credit card (3rd time in a month), although phone calls to customer service that prevent me from getting an online bonus go through for same reservations. Tonight I just gave up and went to Orbitz. My frustration with the website got me thinking why do I stick around with US.
My local agents at ABE are terrific and friendly. When traveling agents elsewhere seem the same and have helped me out numerous times.

Recently do to a change of equipment and my class during the trip, my GoFare bonus didn't post for a trip back from SAN. Emailed gold desk Tuesday. Miles in my account today with a nice email advising me. Who could ask for more?

While many things are wrong with US, the people still are the reason they are my first choice to fly. ^

I'd take US people over anyone else out there. I had a problem over the weekend in LAS. The guys at the gates out there went above and beyond, as I've chronicled in other threads this week.

Some of the people I've encountered in the system through the years haven't just made me feel like a customer... I've felt like one of the family. Let's hope this family doesn't get broken up.
