I know that SAN is a popular destination, but my PIT-SAN flight this Saturday shows F7 P6 A4 Y7 B7 M7 H7 Q5 L5 V3 S2 W1 T1 and my SAN-PHL flight Sunday shows F6 P5 A3 Y7 B7 M7 H7 Q7 L7 V7 S7 W7 T7. I am gold and have not yet received an upgrade for either of these flights. It looks like they both have plenty of F seats available so I am wondering why they don't upgrade in advance.

I'm in the same boat (er plane). My upgrades didn't clear for tomorrow nights PHL-SAN flight showing F7 P7 ... nor the return on the redeye F6 P6..... It looks like US is holding back more inventory --- perhaps that is why "E" disappeared from ITN??

Friday night. I'm doing a triple preferred plus GoFare triple mile MR. I have a 90 minute turnaround in SAN. Saturday morning I am heading to LAX with a return Saturday evening. This will net 28000 EQM's and over 53000 total miles at .012 per mile and .022 EQM.

That's the reason I'm going too. But I decided to spend one night and one day in SAN. And I'll try to go standby on the early flight Saturday which would give me 2 days there.

I think a lot of people are doing the same thing. 8/31 is not too far off. I finally found a weekend that I could take off do a MR and still have 1 day left to relax. Mrs. Dukeman thinks I'm crazy (she's right), but she is happily letting me go. This is my first MR so I am excited and nervous at the same time.

On the bright side, my PHL-DCA flight early Monday morning shows Y0 B0 M0 H0 L0 W0 V0 Q0 S0 T0. I think that this may be a good bump opportunity. :)
