United Airlines, concerned about the rising price of fuel, raised many round-trip fares $10 yesterday. American Airlines matched the fare raise, and other airlines said they were considering it, but Frontier Airlines and Southwest Airlines said they weren't going to follow United's lead. http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~33~2174199,00.html

$10.00 that's all? It seems the airfares are much higher this summer if you haven't bought them already...

The No. 2 airline boosted the surcharge on Wednesday to $15 from $10 to help offset skyrocketing jet fuel prices.
