We are using a combined UA/US F award and have never flown on US before. Flying both legs on the 757, chose seats 1A/C. Are these the best in F? and what to expect for meal service, 7:45a depart on the way down and 3pm back to CLT.

As far as meals go -- it seems that the consensus is to buy something at the airport.

1A/C have more legroom now than they did under the F24 configuration. You will get fed both ways and get a movie and music. Breakfast can sometimes be a little small portioned, so pick something up if you think you might want a big breakfast before taking the wife jewelry shopping.

BTW, if you don't have a jewler, go to Trident Jewlers on the main strip. We've been going to them for almost 15 years and they really do have the best prices on gold, diamonds and watches.
