I was comped to Gold in late january and still have recived no new member packet or a card. I emailed them and asked for a replacement asuming it had been lost in the mail or lost in the shuffle and today I recive a replacement card, but it is just a general member card. How long does it normally take to get these out?

I've never had a problem, but your status should still show on all of your boarding passes when you check in, so you don't really need the card. The only thing I use the card for is kiosk checkin, since that will usually match up name and everything correctly (but no guarantees).
