**This thread is ONLY used to track and post bonuses available to the general public. PLEASE, DO NOT post any exclusive, or "targeted" (valid for addressee only), bonuses in this thread as they will not be incorporated to the main page.**
This post will be updated on a regular basis as forum members provide this thread with new bonuses. However, indications are that new US management do not value promotions as much as old bonuses. Anyhow, those who just want to view the currently available bonuses only need to view this first post on Page 1.
!!**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL CODES**!!
Assume the following about ALL bonuses:
1) You must register IN ADVANCE of your flight.
2) Bonus applies only when earning Dividend Miles; be sure your Dividend Miles account number is included in your reservations.
3) Offer is not combinable with any other promotional flight bonus.
4) Bonus miles do not count toward earning Preferred status.
5) You must fly on US Airways METAL (no codeshares)

Recently flew a TransAtlantic MR after registering for this bonus. Since the bonus miles didn't post I e-mail the Gold desk, quoting the T&C and how I fulfilled them. Although the T&C does not indicate it is a targeted offer their response seemed to indicate it was supposed to be.
Quote:
Although you registered for the offer, since your account was not selected, the miles for the promotion did not credit.
As an exception, I have entered the 10,000 bonus miles on your account for the flight to Europe. You should be able to view the bonus on your account
immediately.

The bonus posted to my account as the Europe Activation Bonus. The crediting of these bonus miles vary.

I had trouble with that bonus too, but in a different way. First, the original T&Cs did not indicate that it was a one time bonus only (which it is). Secondly, as we have found before, it conflicts with other bonuses you may have registered for in the past. For example, I had signed up for and received the Lufthansa Double Miles a few months before this one came out...and when I signed up for this new one, the Lufthansa was still "over-riding" it.
Anyhow, that is what CS is for.........

I had the same experience as wr_schwab, I had to call and have it posted manually. It posted as "Europe Activation Bonus" also.
And the T&C's don't say you can only get it once, they say you can get it once for Y and once for C. But only once per class.

No. "The Programmer" is very busy and he can not put any sort of validation check into the registration scripts. So you register, book non refundable tix on flights you wouldn't otherwise take, fly them and get no bonus.
Sounds bad? No, it's worse. The bonus you registered for that you weren't eligible for will put you on "The Programmer's" Special BBB Purgatory List of Those Who GOM and you won't be able to accrue mileage bonuses for other promos that you were eligible for until you call the Dividend Miles Service Center and have them unregister you for the targetted bonus that the website never should have registered you for in the first place. Any questions?

On the US website, I clicked on the more cities of the GoFares and found a big surprise.
Double or Triple miles to 20 cities to/from PHL. :D :D :D
3x if booked on USairways.com
2x if booked elsewhere (those of us who MUST book on corporate site thank you).
Be warned. There is a registration for EACH of these.
1. Where is LAS on the list?...it's a GoFare;
2. Between phl and 20 cities?, can you originate in one of the 20 cities?
3. Does it include flights that connect through phl?
4. If you register today and had flights that didn't post yet will they post the 3x miles for these? There is no effective booking or travel dates in fine print.

Awful vague small print...a few questions
1. Where is LAS on the list?...it's a GoFare
Now you can receive triple miles between Philadelphia and 20 select U.S. destinations – including the 13 cities with GoFares – when you purchase your tickets at usairways.com before September 1, 2004.
Click on link and it list the 13 cities including LAS. Note effective dates.
2. Between phl and 20 cities?, can you originate in one of the 20 cities?
Purchase your Coach or First Class tickets at usairways.com for travel between Philadelphia and any of these 20 U.S. cities:....Tickets to/from Philadelphia must be purchased and travel completed by September 1, 2004 to qualify
Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm guessing it is orgin in either city
3. Does it include flights that connect through phl?
Fly nonstop between Philadelphia and select cities across the U.S.
I'm guessing no thus the word non-stop, but I would try a connection and see how what fare it pulls up.
4. If you register today and had flights that didn't post yet will they post the 3x miles for these? There is no effective booking or travel dates in fine print.
To qualify, register one time before your next flight by completing the form below.

How does it work if you register for this triple miles offer and you are a GP? The GP automatically gives you a 100% bonue. So, does this mean you get
a. Triple miles x 100% bonus = 6 times (I think the answer is no :p )
b. Triple miles and 100% bonus on actual miles (for a total of 4 times the miles)
c. Just triple miles.

I would guess "yes," because you are literally still flying "between" PHL and whatever cities are listed on the promotion, even if you originated elsewhere and/or have a continuing flight. There is nothing in the "terms & conditions" at the bottom of the screen which indicates travel must originate and/or end in PHL. Of course, the credibility of US Marketing is not at an all-time high at the moment.
I've printed out the promotion from the website as it is worded today, and if I don't get 3X credit for the LAX-PHL leg of my LAX-AVP flight in July, US will be hearing from me.

I'll be very surprised if connections through PHL earn the bonus (I would love it if they did as I live in DC). I'm pretty sure they will apply the wording bolded below to indicate the ticket must be for PHL O&D travel.
Here’s how to earn award travel fast:
Purchase your Coach or First Class tickets at usairways.com for travel between Philadelphia and any of these 20 U.S. cities: <list of 20 cities follows>
It's certainly not worded very well but my guess is that their interpretation will not be giving bonus miles for connections. Of course, YMMV. :)

I would agree with this. United has a similar Dulles over and it is VERY clear that it has to O&D from Philly, ie connections do not count, it's upset some members that were trying to route flights through IAD to get the bonus.
What they are really trying to do is pick up the people like me that fly from philly but now have a southwest option.
Consquently i Just booked PHL-PVD which is very lucrative now.
$76.70= 1,000 base miles, 1,000 miles for status, 1,000 online booking bonus, 2,000 triple miles = 5,000 miles.

The way I'm reading it, the participating leg (in my case LAX-PHL) would get the bonus, but the non-participating leg (in my case PHL-AVP) would not. Of course, "...for travel between Philadelphia..." is a bit ambiguous. I would think connecting pax have a good argument for the bonii on the PHL leg, but I would not disagree that US could decide to be sticklers about it, and only reward people who -- in their minds -- could have chosen to fly WN out of PHL, but did not. I guess it doesn't matter to them that some of us could have chosen other carriers & connected through less troublesome airports, but instead chose to support US out of loyalty, or because they interpreted the terms of the promotion wrong. I'm anxious to see how this plays out.

I look at it this way, might as well register, as far as we know the computer could screw up as it always does and give everybody the bonus for everything.
Side note - It is not combinable with any other offer, oh well for getting 6X with BofA miles, also I would wait till BofA runs out b/c you do not want to get PHL bonus instead of the BofA bonus since PHL bonus doesnt count toward Elite.

Currently, I'm looking at a mileage run. It would be BTV-PHL-FLL-PHL-BTV with another inner FLL-PHL-LAX-PHL-FLL trip. Should be able to do this over a weekend accruing 36K miles for ~$425. Since the GoFares dont seem to apply for the PHL-CLT-LAX (I was only able to price the PHL-LAX direct flight, I too wanted the connection), I would say you dont get them for any. I assume since people are getting the 3x bonuses on flights that do not start or stop in PHL (eg the AVP-PHL-.. trip mentioned above), that in fact the fares do not even need to be GoFares to get the bonuses?

Anybody know what the link to the page was for the 3x Visa Mileage bonus? I recall that its 3x for flights bought (or was it flown) by Sept 1, and I'll be doing about 10,000 miles or so... (RT Caribbean.. .SKB-BUF, and also a PHL-LAX run in there for 3x GoFares). That 3x could at least put me into SP if not eventually GP :) Wheres those GP challenges when you need them ;)
But ya anybdoy that wants to let me know, itd be appreciated.

Not sure if its just a typo, but the Philly go Fares state:
"Bonus miles do not count toward earning Preferred status. Please allow 4-6 weeks for bonus miles to post to your account. All Dividend Miles terms and conditions apply."
The Washington GoFares, however, just have:
"Offer is not combinable with any other promotional flight bonus. Please allow 4-6 weeks for bonus miles to post to your account. For complete terms and conditions on GoFares to and from Washington, DC, visit usairways.com/dcgofares. All Dividend Miles terms and conditions apply."
Any ideas? Could it be that these MAY count towards preferred?

I see:
"This offer is valid for purchases made with your new US Airways Visa for travel from the date you receive the card to August 31, 2004. Bonus miles will also count toward earning Preferred status.
Plus for a limited time, earn up to 15,000 bonus Dividend Miles after you make your first purchase with the card. This offer is available to new cardholders only and tickets must be purchased with the US Airways Visa Card."
Nowhere does it say it must be made either on usairways.com or from USAirways' phone service. Would be good to know though :)

How did you find out this information? Contact US Air I assume. Just curious cause I do a lot of asking of question to US Air via email and don't always get an answer. (I can't call cause I am in Germany and ALL calls cost. No free calls here! )
On this subject of #6699 and the 3x miles using the new VISA Signature card, this promo end date.... 8/31/04.... Is that for purchase or fly by that date? I am getting ready to place a reservation for a November trans Atlantic flight (FRA-PBI) and would place it quickly knowing I could get these 3x miles.
Do you know the answer to this? (I hope I hope)..... ^

US's loads are obviously off with the normal seasonal downturn and the specter of BK hanging over the company. Why wouldn't they offer some 2x mile bonuses to Get flyers Out More?
If the company is going under it wouldn't cost them anything. People are burning miles as fast as they can, so it's not like there's an additional short term cost.
Now that I've reached CP, and with no offers from US, I'll plan my end of 2004 travel with NW, who has offered me and unsolicited challenge to easily reach their Gold Level.

That's a good question - where are the promos? Heck, the rest of the year's had fairly busy bonus mile/promo activity and it seemed to die off at the end of September with DoubleVision and GoFare 2x/3x going away.

Are there any current or near future triple miles promotions in any class of service?
There are darn few bonuses out there, period. Other than a bonus to fly to IND and MAN/LGW, there is zip, nada, zilch.
Apparently BBB thinks we are going to be motivated to fly US because of their bright prospects. I've switched to United for the rest of the year. At least they are running a Fly Three, Get one Free promo. And yes, I know UA is in BK also, and the service so far has been about the same as US. I view it as a diversification move to get some miles somewhere else. And the Fly 3 Get 1 Free more than makes up for the 100% CP bonus I am giving up.

I just found out some good news on this. I called the CP desk. She said even though I was not targeted. She added me because I travel to Europe so much. She said that a customer can call in and be added if you were not targeted. Excellent news ^
Especially since I am going to Europe twice during the dates the promotion is happening!

#2485 Fly US Airways between the U.S. and Europe (http://www.usairways.com/dividendmiles/2485.htm)
Earn 5,000 bonus miles for all paid Coach Class fares (Y, B, M, Q, V and W fare classes) and 10,000 bonus miles for paid Envoy Class fares (C, D, and Z fare classes) on US Airways flights between the U.S. and Europe. All you have to do is purchase your roundtrip tickets and travel anytime between November 1, 2004 and January 31, 2005.
When I called to do a manual addition to this promo I was told that it is offered to Hyatt Gold Passport members (see http://www.goldpassport.com/partner_offers.asp?ssnav=8&gpnav=4 ) and only selected European cities were covered under the promotion. Nevertheless she told me although it states that offer is valid for addressee only, they have no way of telling if you are a Gold Passport member or not so online registration is fine.

FYI, my 5,000 miles to Europe posted for a trip to AMS at the same time as the return trip. I am a Hyatt GP member, but as the previous poster said, doesn't sound like they are checking.
A new one from my e-mail this morning -- the 12,500 mile question is, can you combine them? From PHL 7,500+5,000+7,100 flight miles+20th Anniversary+any preferred bonus = WOW ^^^ I could be looking at 28,000 miles as a Gold next year from PHL for around $300, a nice penny per mile trip
Earn up to 15,000 Bonus Miles between the U.S. and the U.K.
Now is the time to travel between the U.K. and the U.S.
Between December 1, 2004 and March 1, 2005, you'll earn 7,500 bonus miles when you fly US Airways in Coach Class and 15,000 bonus miles when you travel in Envoy Class – our transatlantic business class service – to/from London or Manchester.
To take advantage of this offer, complete these easy steps:
1. Register once before departure by completing the form below. If you are not already a Dividend Miles member, enroll now.
2. Purchase your qualifying roundtrip tickets in Coach or Envoy Class.
3. Fly US Airways to/from the U.S. and London or Manchester between December 1, 2004 and March 1, 2005.
The fine print:
Terms and Conditions: Offer valid for 7,500 bonus miles with the purchase of Coach Class (Y/B/M/H/Q/V/W fare classes) and 15,000 bonus miles with the purchase of Envoy Class (C/D/Z fare classes) on US Airways to/from the United States and London or Manchester. Roundtrip tickets must be purchased and travel completed between December 1, 2004 and March 1, 2005. Registration is required once prior to departure to qualify. Retroactive mileage credit will not be given prior to registration. Bonus miles do not count toward earning Preferred status. Offer is not combinable with other bonus offers. Not valid on codeshare flights operated by other airline partners. Please allow 3 weeks after travel is complete for bonus miles to post. Dividend Miles, bonuses and benefits only apply to flights for which the member has chosen to earn Dividend Miles. Retain all boarding passes and ticket receipts until proper credit has posted. All Dividend Miles terms and conditions apply.

The offers aren't able to be combined, the 20k preferred miles is only good with the online booking bonus. I'd be surprised (but good for you) if you get both.
Edited to add: I think your a bit confused on preferred miles. Your bonus miles don't count towards preferred status (except with the 20k promotion), the 7,500 or anything else are just regular miles.

Sorry -- I meant 21,000 miles + any preferred bonus you might have coming -- The 7,500 (and 5,000) certainly will not apply towards status

I understand that -- to be clear, the penny per mile is FF miles only.
You will only receive preferred miles based on flight miles and the 20th anniversary bonus.
You will receive redeemable miles based on flight miles, 20th anniversary bonus, Europe bonus, and England Bonus.
It is unclear whether all of these offers can all be combined (but I sure hope someone finds out)

Help please...I am about to lose my elite status with US. Used to be Gold, dropped to Silver and now about to lose that...you guessed it, I live in Baltimore. There are very few good schedules out of BWI anymore. I do have the US Signature Visa card though. I thought I remembered that some of the "elite" benefits were also available to this level US Visa holders. Am I correct? You all are my source for anything US, can you set me straight?

Please forgive my ignorance, but if I register for promo #6855 - On-Line Booking Bonus, and book on-line, does that then get me 3,000 extra dividend miles (the normal 1,000 on-line bonus + the 2,000 promo)? That stuff about it counting toward the elite qualification is just an EXTRA benefit, right?
And I assume if I'm travelling with my wife, I can do it all in one on-line reservation if we both register for the promo?
Thanks!

Yes you will get the 6855 bonus miles and the 3k miles. Now remember the 3k miles will go towards REAL miles that can be use to get award travel. The 6855 miles are for status.
I am not sure if you and your wife would have to book seperate or not. I would think you would need to book hers seperately so she can get credit as well for the on-line booking bonus of 3k miles. The 6855 promotion she would get for sure.

The UK bonus #6784 states it expires 3/1/05 and not 3/31/05 as referenced here.
I'm not sure if they changed it or it was a typo on FT. Hopefully, nobody booked March travel expecting this - like I almost did.

All I can say is it doesn't have the usual "valid for addressee only" rhetoric in the T&C which usually accompanies targetted promo's. But maybe they bollixed it up again - it wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last. :(

A friend received this via mail, its an extension of the previous "clear skies ahead" promo from January (looks to be same details) - but it ends March 11.
Anyway, might be worth calling and asking for.
I post this not to cause trouble, but to see whether other variants of the january clear skies promotion are circulating. I am curious to see who is getting targeted. This friend is a CP who hasnt bought a ticket in several months.

Now, in addition to getting the lowest fare, you can also earn 2,500 bonus miles when you buy your ticket at usairways.com and fly by September 30, 2005*.
Terms and Conditions: Offer is valid for published, roundtrip, adult fares purchased on usairways.com from 6/17/05 and for travel on US Airways the US Airways Express carriers and US Airways Shuttle from 6/17/05-9/30/05. *Travel must be completed on or before 9/30/05. Offer does not apply to tickets purchased through US Airways Vacations online, E-Savers fares or award travel. This offer is not valid on codeshare airline partners, including Lufthansa and United.

As luck would have it, I purchased a ticket this morning (6/17/05) and then found this post and went and signed up for the bonus promotion. I tried to figure it out from the fine print, but do you think I will receive this bonus even though I bought the ticket first and then registered for the promotion about an hour later? Or should I cancel the ticket in the 24 hour window and then re-buy it? Just wondering. I don't have much experience with these promotions and I assume they are strict about when you register, buy the ticket, etc.
