Had a great rijsstafel last month at Tempo Doeloe -- Utrechtsestraat 75 (625 67 18)

I shared a wonderful rijsstafel with iluv2fly and LastClass in January at Aneka Rasa.

The restaurant is at Warmoesstraat 25-29 and the phone number is 020-6261560.

The staff was very friendly and the portions were plentiful... we ended up with plenty of food left on our plates, but not for lack of good eats!

I will second LGA's Bojo's recommendation. The only downside is it is very popular.

Also, for a nice setting (and IMHO pretty good food), try Indrapura on Rembrantplein. A tad on the pricey side, but a nice setting www.indrapura.nl (http://www.indrapura.nl)

I 2nd Indrapura - if cost isn't an issue.... Been there several times now... Go for the Rijsttafel

Although you should try and book as it can sometimes get busy.
