The Grand Wailea resort seems to have re- thought itself and will re-open its nightclub/disco Tsunami. I don't have alot of information on what they will be doing yet but it definitely will improve the late-night options on the South side.
Current nightlife in the Kihei/Wailea area is at Mulligans Bar and Grill on Wailea's Blue Golf Course. They have live music 5-6 nights a week and is a favorite of the restaurant/Resort workers after their shifts so it usually dosen't get started much before 10pm. (FYI-9PM is considered "Maui Midnight" but apparently some visitors stay up later than that).
