Having only eaten at this restaurant ONE TIME, it will stay in my mind as a must when anywhere near Louisville.
The dish I ordered was a salad type dish with chicken and lots of ginger and I believe it was made with something similar to papaya. Papaya was unavailable, out of season there or something, so I am not positive about the vegetable. Whatever it was, it was delicious. I ordered it medium spicy. There was enough leftover for two more meals and luckily we had a cooler in the car. I also had the tom yum soup which was okay but my tom yum recipe at home is better.
My daughter ordered the drunken noodle type dish that is similar to Pad Thai but wetter. She ordered hers medium which was much hotter than mine. She was very pleased with her dish and had enough leftover for two more meals.
The staff was very friendly and seemed to enjoy talking with me about Thai/Laotian/Vietnamese/Cambodian food.
We had dinner with soup the total bill was about $25.00. I noticed they had a very inexpensive lunch menu.
This restaurant is located within easy walking distance of a nice Marriott that we happened to be staying at using a free night certificate. The restaurant is at 1983 South Hurstbourne in east Louisville just off of an interstate. It is part of a 4 restaurant chain with one in Frankfurt, and other midwest cities.
