I went to Henry's on the recommendation of a colleague of mine, and a separate recommendation from a local, and I must say Henry's did not disappoint.

I started with my usual martini, which was ice cold and prepared to perfection. The menu was fairly varied with “Two Handed Dinner Sandwiches,” a selection of seafood, as well as various items for the carnivores. In addition to the menu items, my server impressively recited several specials, which included 2 or 3 steaks and 2 or 3 seafood items. At my servers suggestion I started with the Heart of Romaine salad. The salad included a nice romaine heart, slices of tomatoes and onions, and blue cheese crumbles. Together, the salad provided a perfect start to my meal. I continued with the Filet, which was on special. The filet was cooked to perfection, and was juicy and tender. It was also served with sautéed green beans and mashed potatoes which were a bit too creamy for my taste.

All in all, it was a great meal, and I highly recommend it.

Abe
