We visited the Manchester location of this 20 unit restaurant chain yesterday for lunch. The menu describes the food as bold and hearty flavor and the generous portions of the Canadian Rockies. We can certainly attest to the claim of large portions.

I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich which is a chicken breast basted in buffalo wing sauce and deep fried. Served on a large bun with lettuce, tomato, red onion and blue cheese dressing. My wife had the Dog Team Sandwich which is a grilled chicken breast topped with shaved ham, Monterey jack cheese, red onion and BBQ sauce. Both sandwiches were accompanied by pepper spiced french fries. Both sandwiches were moderately priced at $6.99.

We returned last night for dinner and both ordered the salmon. The 7 oz piece of fresh salmon is marinated in a ginger, soy and pineapple mixture and then grilled. The entree was accompanied by an amazing amount of smashed potatoes and steamed vegetables (broccoli and carrots). Valued priced @ $11.50.

The waiters visited 3 different tables to sing Happy Birthday while we dined so we asked if there was a birthday special. We were told a complimentary dessert is given to anyone celebrating their birthday.

Bugaboos has pretty decent food. They are also really flexible with the ordering. Some chains make it hard to order something if you have a restricted diet.
