We came to Greenwich Tavern expecting a bar with traditional "pub-type" food, but were pleasantly surprised to find a nice restaurant serving delicious food. Corrie had the fish and chips, which I tasted, and they were wonderful (albeit very greasy). I had a special seafood and pasta dish, and the pasta was well seasoned and the seafood (shrimp, scallops, littlenecks, etc.) were very fresh. All in all a very good meal, but it was a little pricey ($7-10 for pasta dishes, $10-16 for entrees, as I recall).
