For history you will not believe visit the
LONGFELLOW'S WAYSIDE INN AND RESTAURANT in Sudbury, Massachusetts. 1-800-339-1776 or locally at (978) 443-1776. This is the real thing. An old country inn. the food is good the service was very good and the history is,
as they say priceless.Lunch is served from 11:30 to 3:00 and then dinner. This is a place you might want to hit for lunch and then a walk around afterwards after all this is THE INN made famous by Longfellow in his "Tales of a Wayside Inn"
I had the yankee pot roast and the New England Clam Chowder (or chowdaah as we New Englanders say) both were excellent as was the service. LOCATED ON ROUTE 20
on line at www.wayside.org (http://www.wayside.org)
HAPPY HISTORY
