I am in Omaha several times a year, and never miss going to Farmer Browns. Fantastic prime rib dinner for under $15!

Warren Buffet and many other locals seem to be fond of Gorat's, a popular steak house in the city. A Wall Street Journal story on Buffet several months ago mentioned his regular lunches there. Apparently he eats the same thing there every week (a steak, hash browns and a cherry coke, as I recall).
